So I spent the entire weekend being sick, and now that I'm perking up a bit, I'm starting to feel the words revving up again. Does anybody else find that getting sick makes it hard to write? And if so, is there anything that seems to help?
I know exactly what you mean. I hate writing while I'm sick. :p
If I'm not already dealing with work or something else exhausting, I'll try it anyway. Usually going to a coffee shop and drinking something hot helps to get may brain in gear.
I don't tend to write much when I'm sick. Instead, I usually just devour books whole. Sucking down as much coffee as possible does seem to help, though.
Don't write when you're sick. I think the world sucks enough without adding more bad writing to it...wait until you're better. No snotgurgler needs to become an author that badly. :)
